Not detecting AngelBox                

Problem => There is a connection problem between the AngelBox and angelcam.
Solution => Check the LEDs on the device to make sure it is working properly. Refer to the following articles:

 

Not detecting any cameras

Problem => Angelbox couldn’t establish a connection to your camera.
Solution => Try using a switch instead of a router only and make sure that your network components don’t filter the communication. Then refer to AngelBox prerequisites.

 

Not detecting stream

Problem => You device might not be supported.
Solution => Please try to enter the RTSP address manually. Read more in article RTSP addresses for NVR/DVRs and RTSP address explanation. 

 

Stream not connecting

Problem => Not enough bandwidth.
Solution =>  If the “...” symbol seems to take a very long time or there is an “error” it can sometime be because there is not enough bandwidth. Isolate, run speed test. Read the following article.

 

Error message instead of a video

Problem => Problem with connecting to the camera
Solution => Check the error code description. If it doesn’t help, try using a manual RTSP address - read more in the article.

 

Not accepting password

Problem => Usually a wrong RTSP address
Solution => Please enter the RTSP address manually. In some rare cases, the camera might be using different credentials for accessing the stream. In that case please refer to the user manual of your camera or check this article.

Gaps in recording 

Problem => Not enough bandwidth
Solution => See our article Recommended streaming setting when experiencing issues or when getting keyframe interval too high error or contact your IPS provider for higher upload speed.

 

Slow Internet

Problem => Consuming too much bandwidth
Solution => See our article Recommended streaming setting when experiencing issues or when getting keyframe interval too high error or contact your IPS provider for higher upload speed.
