Key Benefits

  • Private Zones: Draw solid black masks over areas you don’t want monitored—such as windows, neighboring properties, or shared spaces.

  • Permanent Obscuration: These zones are never visible in recordings or live streams.

  • Respect for Shared Environments: Ideal for locations where privacy boundaries matter.

Setup Instructions

Visit my.angelcam.com and sign in.

Choose your camera from the main panel.

Access the Settings section.

Go to Privacy Mask.

Privacy Mask

Protect specific areas from being recorded or detected:

  • Select regions in the video feed to visually block from recording

  • Use masks to prevent motion alerts from triggering in those areas (e.g., a waving tree or a public street).

Use the tool to draw masks over the desired areas.

Save your changes.

Tips

  • Masks are fixed—make sure you’re confident about what you want to hide.

  • Use privacy masks to comply with local privacy regulations and guidelines.
