Clips are stored in the Clips section under your camera detail. They are stored indefinitely and can be downloaded to your phone or shared via email, similar to sharing a YouTube link. Anyone can replay the Clip in the special web-based player.

To create a clip, follow these initial steps:

Select the Cloud Recording App: Look below your camera view, where you'll find the Cloud Recording app. Click on it—this will open the camera panel configuration.

Find the Create Clip Button: Below your camera timeline, locate the button labeled Create clip. Click on it to start creating your clip, as demonstrated in the interface below.

Once you're in the Create Clip section, here's what to do next:

  1. Choose a Clip Name: You'll have the option to name your clip for easy identification.

  2. Set the Start and End Times: You can manually select the start date and time and the end date and time for your clip. Alternatively, you can define this interval visually by dragging and dropping the timeline bar beneath your camera stream. Please note that the maximum length of a clip is limited to 3 hours.

  3. Finalize the Clip: After you've selected all the parameters and are satisfied with the settings, simply click Create Clip to confirm.

When you’re done creating a clip, click on Clips in the right-hand side menu. There, you’ll find a general preview of all the clips lists associated with the account. You can:

  • Play the clips that you’ve created, or shared account clips

  • Use the button "create a new clip" for new clips with updated parameters.

  • Use the icons to Save or share the clips.

When you click on each clip, it provides a more comprehensive view of the available options for that specific clip. These include:

  • Action Options: You can save the clip by downloading it to your computer or share it with other accounts using the provided tools.

  • Timeframe Details: It shows the clip's start date and time, as well as the end date and time interval for reference. And lenght of the clip.

  • Source Information: You’ll also see the name of the camera from which the clip was retrieved.

This detailed view is designed to make managing and sharing your clips as seamless as possible.

If you prefer using the Angelcam: Cloud Camera Viewer mobile app, creating, sharing, and downloading clips is easy and straightforward. Here’s how:

Select the "Create Clip" Button: This button is your starting point to activate the clip creation process.

Select the Section or Timeframe: On the timeline, drag and drop to choose the specific timeframe you want to clip.

Save the Clip: Once you've set the clip's duration and pinpointed the moment on the timeline, tap Save to Clips at the bottom.

Processing the Clip: The app will start processing your clip. This may take a few minutes, and you'll see its progress in the app.

Access Your Clips: Once processing is complete, go to the Clips section in the app. Here, you'll find all your available clips ready for:

  • Preview
