Any kind of connection is supported, including cellular 🙂 .
The most important parameters to watch:
upload speed depending on what is your camera settings - it can be anywhere between 100 kbps and 10 Mbps, or even more, depending on resolution, compression, etc. For most cases 1-2 Mbps per camera is okay.
stability (packet loss) - ideally zero % packet loss is recommended. There is no specific threshold causing choppy streams for viewers, sometimes even 5% packet loss is still okay. In general, you should aim for values very close to zero to prevent problems of any kind.
