Key Benefits

  • Real-Time Alerts: Receive notifications on your phone or email the moment motion is detected.

  • Event-Triggered Recording: Record footage only when motion occurs to conserve bandwidth and storage.

  • Custom Detection Zones: Select specific areas within the camera’s field of view for active monitoring.

  • Adjustable Sensitivity: Reduce false alarms by tuning detection responsiveness to your environment.

Setup Instructions

Go to my.angelcam.com and log in.

Select your camera from the dashboard.

Open the Settings menu.

Navigate to Motion Detection:.

Motion Detection Settings

You have full control over how the camera responds to movement:

Sensitivity: Set how easily the camera triggers an alert based on motion intensity.

Trigger Type: Define what kinds of motion will activate recording or notification (e.g., object size or speed).

Delay Timer: Introduce a delay before alerts are sent or recordings start.

Reset/Resend Delay: Customize how long the system waits before re-triggering or sending another alert after motion is detected.

Privacy Mask

Protect specific areas from being recorded or detected:

  • Select regions in the video feed to visually block from recording

  • Use masks to prevent motion alerts from triggering in those areas (e.g., a waving tree or a public street)

Define detection zones and adjust sensitivity as needed.

Enable Notifications to receive alerts.

Tips

  • Avoid placing detection zones on areas with frequent movement like roads or trees to minimize false alerts.

  • Test sensitivity settings gradually to find the optimal balance.
