How much video footage can I store?

Video storage is based on the retention period selected. Angelcam offers numerous cloud storage retention periods.

Is there a limit to the resolution size that can be used?

There is no limit to the resolution size or quality. 

Can I upload recorded data from my other existing system?

No, the recording is based on the live stream from the camera or NVR/DVR.

Is it continuous or event recording?

Up to you, we support both.

How do I activate cloud recording?

How can I review the recorded video?

Open our web or mobile apps and simply scrub back through available recorded footage or enter a date and time to auto-navigate to the desired event.

Is it possible to try out the service before committing to a subscription?

Yes. Angelcam offers a 30-day trial for our 3-day retention plan. Users have the ability to cancel the auto-renew feature at any time.

Can I change my cloud recording plan to another? 

Yes, when you change your recording plan to higher or lower. If the latter, we automatically prorate the amount of any price difference. 

Can other people view my recorded footage?

Yes, Angelcam offers the ability to share your recorded footage with other Angelcam users. You can share unlimited access to all your recordings (per camera), or you can share just a selected clip.

Is it possible to save the footage for later use?

Yes. Clips up to three hours (max) in length can be created and stored in the Secured vault.

Is there a limit to the number of clips that can be created?

No. Currently, there is no limit to the number of clips that can be created. All clips are stored indefinitely on the account and remain accessible even if the cloud recording service is canceled.
