We recommend you manage the rights on your desktop computer or laptop. You will have more options like this than in the mobile application itself. Incident notifications are included in Deter and Prevent plans.

Here is how to get into the correct section:

  1. Log in to my.angelcam.com

  2. Click on the camera you want to manage the rights for

  3. Click on the sharing tab on the left

You should see this screen:

There are several options to choose from. You can share live streams, 24/7 or event recordings, clip creation or even incident notifications.

How to share

Sharing is easy! Simply enter the e-mail address of the person, business or central monitoring station you want to share your camera with, choose the rights and hit "Send invitation".

This is what you should see now for each person, business, or central monitoring station you share your camera with.

How to edit the sharing rights

If you made a mistake or simply want to change the rights, you can click on the edit button and change permissions.

How to stop sharing

In the same section, click on the cross mark and confirm.

Let's go through these options one by one and look at what they do.

1. Can view the live stream

When you enter the e-mail and hit "Send invitation," this e-mail will be sent.

The camera will then be in this section https://my.angelcam.com/dashboard/shared-camera/. Only the live stream will be visible (no 24/7 or event recording or clips as proof for the police, for example).

2. Can view recordings

You will share the full history of your recordings (24/7 or event recording). It depends on the retention that the camera has. Additionally, Angelcam offers a retention period from 3 days to 2 years. More information about cloud recording can be found here.

3. Can create clips

The person can create clips the same way you do. You will also see the newly created clips in your account.

4. Can view all clips

All clips created for the camera will be shared with the person, and the person can download them.

5. Can receive incident notifications

Incident notifications are included in our Prevent and Deter plans. We cover critical notifications in more detail here. Make sure that the place is armed first. We write about arming and disarming in more detail here.

Rights can also be managed in the mobile application.

Here is how to get there:

  1. Open our application and click on the camera

  2. Click on the settings, right under the camera stream

  3. In the settings, click on the "Sharing" tab

That's it! Now you know how to manage rights for your camera.
