ℹ️ This guide explains how to retrieve the credentials for your camera, which are typically used to access the camera’s local administration interface. This access allows you to adjust settings directly on the camera or upgrade its firmware when connected to the same local network as the camera.

  1. Access Your Camera Dashboard

  • Go to my.angelcam.com/dashboard and log in to your Angelcam account.

  • Click on the camera name for which you want to retrieve the credentials.

2. Open Camera Settings

  • In the left-hand menu, scroll to the bottom and click on Settings.

3. Reveal Camera Address

  • In the settings section, find and click the large blue button labeled “Show Camera Address”.

4. Find the Credentials

  • A long URL will appear, showing the camera’s stream path.

  • The credentials are included in the format login:password

  • For AXIS and many other cameras, the login will be root, and the password will be visible in the URL.

5. Access Your Camera’s Administration Interface

  • Open a web browser on a device connected to the same local network as your camera.

  • Enter the camera’s IP address into the browser’s address bar.

  • Use the credentials (login and password) you retrieved earlier to log in to the camera’s local administration interface.

  • Once logged in, you can adjust settings, update firmware, or perform other administrative tasks as needed.
